On March 9, in commemoration of International Womens Day, Ilam and Assiwar, a partner feminist NGO, visited the women and communities of Jerusalem, including those from Silwan and Shiekh Jarrah, supporting their demands to halt the demolition of their homes in East Jerusalem.
The Israeli governments plans to demolish homes in Silwan will cause the displacement of around 1,500 Palestinians.
