Globes Tour for Arab Media Practitioners
I’lam Media Center and Globes –the economics/business newspaper organized a meeting between Arab journalists and editors from Globes. The meetings included several issues: presentation about Globes newspaper and website work, the concept of economic journalism, the journalism work in the economic field and the media coverage of Palestinian society inside Israel by Globes. Several journalists from different media outlets participated in the meeting.
The Arab journalists met Itan Madmon - the CEO of Globes, Hagay Golan -editor-in-chief, Mina Selgman-Marketing director, Ami Ohana- production manager, Getet Penkas –editor and Fadi Mouallem, the only Arab among the staff of 350.
The tour ended with a discussion panel. The participants in this panel were: Zuhair Bahlul, journalist at Radio Ashams, Yoav Stern - independent journalist, Merav Bateto journalist from Yediot Ahronoth, Nabil Armaly-editor of Malkom, the Arabic economic magazine, Moshe Lekhtman journalist from Globes and the journalist Kholod Massalha from I’lam Media Center.
