Ilam will be hosting a symposium addressing the issue of media strategies for Arab Palestinians in Israel on Tuesday, December 22 2009 at the offices of the High Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens in Israel.
The symposium will run from 4-7pm at the High Followup-Committee offices in ‘The Wurood (Roses) Neighbourhood’ in Nazareth.
Speaking at the symposium will be:

‘Aida Touma-Suleiman – Director, Women Against Violence
Dr. Mansour ‘Abbas – President of Board of Directors, Islamic Movement
As’ad Talhami – Journalist
Hisham Naffa’ – Journalist
Zuhear Andraos – Editor of Newspaper, ‘Ma’a al-Hadath’
Ameer Makhoul – Director, Ittijah – Union of Arab Community-Based Associations
In addition, a welcome address will be given by ‘Aied ‘Ali Essalih, Member of I’lam’s Board of Directors, while Dr. Amal Jamal, General Director of I’lam, will oversee the event.
