Bed & Breakfast A Film Directed by Juna Suleiman

The film is a revelation of Juses’ hometown of Nazareth today. And what Nazareth’s  souq( old market) really means to its youth – the dearth of playgrounds and the absence of hope.
Bed & breakfast is a documentary film which reveals the reality of Nazareth’s souq through four main protagonists- Mohammad, Majd, Bishara and Hala. Each exposes another aspect of the market, having come from another different backgrounds and different areas of the big neighborhood.
The film focuses on the contrast between the vitality of the children and the poorness and nothingness of the souq’s everybody life, suggesting another perspective of what once religiously and historically important place, and what is now an abandoned, ignored area of Nazareth providing but just another “extra path” for the world tourists.
