Ilam is cooperating with ICFJ - International Center for Journalists to provide Palestinian journalists with an online training course in investigative journalism to run from April 6 - May 18 2009.
Ilam has registered four Palestinian journalists in the Arabic online training course organised and run by the ICFJ. Daoud Kuttab and Hoda Osman will be the instructors leading the six week course.
Among the topics to be discussed are the specificities of investigative reporting; development of story ideas and sources; internet and computer-assisted reporting (CAR); how to conduct effective interviews; using undercover reporting; organizing and writing an investigative report; and ethical considerations when working on an investigative report.
